Oil is oily- I've never found one that repelled dust yet.
The Pro bicycle riders have a great interest in drive train friction and dust: many use a product such as Finish Line Teflon-Plus to lubricate the chain. Dries to non-oily, dry surface and is said by the local Pro to last 100 miles in competition. I have used it on my dogbones, out drives, etc. for 2 years now and note substantially less wear. It sprays on through a small plastic tube and you can easily apply it between heats. I also put it on all suspension point. No plastic damage, though you can see the teflon residue.:nod:

I did the shocked mod you mentioned in your tips and tricks section. It seems like it has much more play and after the thick washer on the bottom its much straighter. Just as strong and sturdy like you mentioned. Thanks for the tip ;) lets just hope it holds up well :nod: :p

Bearing Oil as a replacement for Graphite grease
 

So according to this the bearin oil #1682 can be used all around the car where you would use the graphite grease?

(anything metal to metal?) and ( the suspension ball pivots)

I read the article on servicing the bearings. They mention cleaning with motor spray? what is this spray where can I find it?

This is a degreasing spray which you should be able to find at any car parts shop.

As much as I like that...(because I have one) that setup station are NO LONGER working with the 710 because the rear uprights (the top pivot ball area that you will adjust your rear camber)of the 710 sit up HIGH and the Integy setup block DOES NOT have the opening for you to adjust the upper pivot balls thru the setup block...so you can only use the L-shape stock allen wrentch to setup your camber or you setup the camber with the setup block.

And somehow....HUDY one has a circle opening for you to adjust the 710 even thought that HUDY setup station is out almost 5 years already....

I bet Serpent designed the 710 rear uprights for some reason that only HUDY setup will work.

Right...thats logical, build a car around a setup station!

Integy one DOES come with that clear TOE IN/OUT ruler as well....but I think if you want to buy a new one, buy the HUDY because the rear block of the Integy will not allow you to adjust your rear camber on 710.

But he has revealed himself to the forum...just give a wild guess...:D

I believe that the extra hole on the HUDY station was originally put there due to the yokomo gt4 rear upright design, which is virtually the same as the 710's.

Master D...........GOOD MEMORY....wow, what is that...? P4 with 4.0 Ghz in your head? ....just 1 more time, it is a GOOD setup station, but if you are planning to buy a new one, HUDY will fit 710 better cause Integy one are UNIVERSAL, just not for S710.

Do you have a side view pic of that setup board? That thing looks too sweet. :) The Hudy ones seems to crack at the some areas near the bolts. Maybe I can drill a hole to accomodate the camber adjustment on the 710? :sneaky:

Yes, the first time I spot the 710 rear uprigth, the image is "YOKOMO GT-4" immediately.....
If Hudy did that extra opening for the YOKOMO customer........then they deserve to make more money cause they can use that against the aftermarket work station on S710....

As for me....I borrowed the HUDY one from my friend and if I don't have that HUDY one on my hand, I will still use the Integy one, but just using those stock L-shape black allen wrench instead...just not as comfortable as the regular hex wrench and no that professsional, no big deal.
