Yep, thats what I figured, too - but I still need an extra one for the Centax.
The Centax clutch? You mean the grub screw at the 2 speed gearbox to lock the P13 pin as in step 9.2? I did not use it and it should not matter too.

Just between the o-ring and bottom cap.

Ummm, why do you need to replace it everytime? Does the shim cut the o rings?

Shims can not cut the o-ring or shaft, coz the id is 4mm and od is 6mm, sit precisely on the bottom cap.
It became a bit harder after rebuilding.

:(

This is a known weak point which a lot of people including myself broke. How did you break it? Hit from the rear or when the car turned turtle and the shock tower broke? Looked like a hard hit since the shock came off from the pivot ball on the lower arm.

Hey, where did you get the shock towers from? Pretty hard to find at the moment.

This guy, Ah Seng (GS driver), master technician...he can melt pieces onto its original part...damn good turbo mechanic(real big car!)

Is it only the rear shock tower which is weak? I'm just getting a list of parts to order. I'll probably also get a second kit - but wait until I find a cheapish one on ebay - seen one go for just over €340 so far.

Cheers, Mark.

I don't have that problem during the race...i can go to Labuan racers supplier, Mr. Chris Han, or even ask the Brunei Serpent racers.....but the only out of stock part is the body post. Everyone already cut theirs but end up the body is too low to meet the rules stipulated for the race and have to increase height another hole.:D

Body post? You could use the Tamiya ones like what Goldfinger / Pyramid mentioned. I know for a fact that for the rear body post the XRay ones will fit like a glove.
