Just checking out what you guys are talking about. So far so good, most of the stuff is already explained by Julius. Just one thing: there will be no two rear ends, just one with different possibilities to adjust.

Hi Michael. Nice to see you here at forum. May be will have some talk about engines too.;)

MichaelS 11-13-2003 03:47 PM

Talking about engines is ok, but to do so, I need to sleep first...

Not 100% sure, but I'd hazard a guess that it will be a little after the release.

Is the cluch bell the same from the centax II to III? I only wonder because I already have the lightweight bell for the centax II on my 705, and thought it would be nice to transfer it to my new car.

Looks the same. I'm also hoping that it's the same clutchbell. Looks like the one way hub for the 1st gear and the 2 speed clutchshoe looks the same too. If you look it the other way around, you could convert the 705 to 0.8 module gearing. :sneaky: :D

...hhmm sound like (hudy)Xray car to me.
About flex - med - hard one thing I dont understand, If we see nowdays competition car, the mfg is always pointing to rigidity of chasis (suspension arm too) says.. carbon top deck, stiffener this, stiffener that, carbon shocktower..etc..
Then 1 company came up with material strength optional (goossh.. ) so it mades rigidity of chasis became less important.
Question is : Is our "legend" will do this also ??

Thank you for explaining how the ART works.
Sound very promising.

Do you mean the optional upper deck on the T1? I found that one hard to understand too, but it did help my xray on the carpet track... Go figure.

So, one thing that I hope somebody pays attention to availability on parts for the 710 once it hits the stores. I already pre-ordered 4 kits, but hope to be able to order a hefty chunk of spares as well, pulleys, belts, steering knuckles, optional gears etc. Somebody please tell me that there is a plan in place to get all these items out on the market faster than you can say "less than five" Anyway, time to go to bed... Tomorrow will be a great day. release of the 710 and the movie "Masters and Commanders "starts showing at Theaters here in the US..... PLus it's Friday. :D

I know nuts about electric but I always thought that a stiffer chassis would be better suited for high traction surface (carpet).
