Are you a registered user at 3hobby.net? But actually I don't think you need to be. Must be a security policy at your work place  Its bound to have something to do with Microsoft *spit* *spit*

To download from 3Hobby.net then you need to register at 3hobby.net.

If you continua with problems at 3Hobby.net then send a PM to slowsteady here at rctech. He is the guy behind 3Hobby.net, he will then help you out.

RCCobra and MarkP27 are both right in that you shouldn't have to register at 3hobby.net if you want to download the 710FAQ. Just click on the link below MarkP27's signature here at RCTech and it should work.

Registering at 3Hobby.net makes it easier as well as you can download tons of other stuff, especially RC car racing videos.

12TZ

Hi S&S,
Will there be more info about the O.S. 12TZ soon?
AFAIK you have one and were planning on an extended review of the engine.

Ridder... Here's a link to the OS Tz-12 thread... Some nice info and reading... I have one and I must, for the bang for the buck... It can't be touched... The Power, ease to tuning & over all quailty.... OS has a winner with this motor... http://rctech.net/forum/showthread.p...1&page=2&pp=30

Hi guys,

I was looking to get a Stratus 3.1 body for my 710. Where would be the cheapest online store to get one?

RC_Alan

I read the thread...very interesting...
I also read a small `review` on 3Hobby, but I expected a sequel:

That's it! I'll plonk it in one of my 710s and get it ready for the Euros next week as a back-up engine. Share your RC passion! SS

I still don't understand why it's hard to find OS engines here...only tame airplane engines.
Maybe because Graupner Germany is the distributor, and Graupner is more into planes than cars.

Not many car people know OS here, and if they have heard of them, then they think it's not even close to italian mills....

Yes, there will be a sequel ... I need to try something out to complete the story. Just no time ...

OS is known here in Europe.
For the .21 engines, they can not compete with the Italian ones.....

This is a 710 thread ( .12 engines) and I was talking about the .12TZ....
That engine can compete with italian engines (both out-of-the-box)(read 12TZ thread)....

I've been flying RC planes before I switched to cars, and most engines were OS....but with cars it's different.
The 12TZ or 18TZ are not available in the Netherlands/Europe (and if a shop sells them, then they imported the engines themselves and sell them for outrageous prices)
http://shop.graupner.de/webuerp/servlet/AA?wgr=9124
The .18VC-R I have in a car costed €110 from Tower incl. shipping.....look at the price that Graupner asks.....it's double....

M7H 11-14-2005 04:36 AM

Take it easy... I know we are talking about .12 engines here....
But I was just making a statement, also the .12 Mega engines are very fast, but the .21 are just not fast (and reliable yet) enough.....

But what's the problem in getting the .12 and .21 engines in Europe while the bigger airplane engines you can almost buy in every shop?

I think.. sponsoring and PR.....

swaybar

I'm putting everything back together and I wanted to replace the swaybar with a stronger one: 2.5mm and 3mm.
I bought the kit that is supposed to fit on the 710.
The swaybar itself is too thick to fit on the "suspension bracket rear up".
I got some plastic parts with the swaybars, but I don't know how and where to put it....
The plastic part is on the chassis.

the new 2.5/3mm sway bar should be place on top of that carbon fiber, not below it like the standard bar. Those plastic in the pics are for holding the bars (you need to fold them together.. see the slots?).
