Before I forgot again, if you experiencing rx cover slightly hitting the ground (when cornering) after installing the new lowered CG chassis, here is one example on how to do it,

There was considerable written about this early on. Perhaps Mark remembers where or put it in his Faqs. The plastic brace was made too short, by about 1 mm. To my knowledge this was never corrected by Serpent. However, the alloy x-brace is the correct size, and when installed on the new chassis, it does not bow the chassis when tightening the radio tray. Mine was dead flat and zero tweak after construction with the new chassis.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where can I purchase (online) ajustable aluminum shocks? Will the following shocks fit in a 710?

Mugen MTX3 ajustable aluminum shocks
Mongoose G4 ajustable aluminum shocks
R40 ajustable aluminum shocks

Thank you.

Serpent shock are different in between fr and rr lenght so I do not think you could find replacement. All those shock you listed wont fit. If you do not like what they are now for whatever reason, be patient, just wait for future release of their new dampers soon.

In the mean time, check out the following new additonal option parts,

SER-802173 Pully/shim 22T mid-side alu
SER-802345 Pully/shim 24T 2sp-center alu
SER-802393 diff-adjuster alu Pro + shoe
SER-802394 shoe diff-adjuster Pro

Are there any adjustable aluminum damper shocks available now? Where can I get them? Thank you.

The Diff adjuster alu Pro-set 802393

From the Source ;)
at your Service !!
http://shop.the-border.nl/product.php?productid=22853

Serpent is pleased to present this beautifully machined aluminium Pro diff adjuster. Suitable for use on the front and rear of your Serpent 710, this part fits directly onto the standard differential, this orange anodised part allows for more consistent diff adjustment due to its stiffer construction.

The truly innovative part of this new adjuster set however, is the use of a diff shoe. Made from a PTFE material this diff shoe creates a much improved and smoother differential movement due to the material used. Also when the part wears you only need to replace the shoe.

Additional information:
Complete set comes with aluminum diff adjuster, shoe and adjuster screw.

Availability:
June 2005

How adjustable that you meant? The standard dampers already fully adjustable beyond any other maker doesn`t it? There is aluminum body for them as an options with the following part number,

SER-909410 Shock-body alu teflon front (2)
SER-909411 Shock-body alu teflon rear (2)
