He,
there are a lot of other story's about building the diff.. now i polisched the disks and put a very think grease on the thrust-bearing... the balls and diff rings get only a small amount of greace...
Not that's my storry.. what are you story's or, can i find any hint's and tips ? ( i already read julius and glen' articls...)

Re: Diff building
Cyclops, it's actually very simple for me. Firstly, I smear the Mugen Super Grease on a paper towel (a little bit less than 1 cm worth of grease) and rub all the diff balls evenly on the paper towel with these sticky grease. Nothing on the diff plates. Pop the diff balls in and start assembling the diff. Of course the thrust bearing inside the diff is lube with the Mugen Super Grease also.
Secondly, build the diff and makes sure without the diff collar, the diffs are tightened just enough that the diff pulley does not slip when you turn it hard.
So far after over a year of running, I am still using the same diff balls and diff plates. The diff stays very smooth still and I have only serviced it like 4 or 5 times only.
I believe Serpent is going to release a tool (or I thought already released) to make the job easier to ensure the diff pulley is tight and does not slip.

Don't tell anyone..... but there is also another tip with the diif.....put a thin coating of super grease on the part of the diff which is underneath the diff clamp - this improves the operation of the diff.
Cheers, Mark.
