Check my photo, you will never be able to do that without cutting your balls!! (I mean stock aluminium pivot ball)
Then after adjusting the lower ball to kept 200mm trackwidht, my car is even better.

If you only need to lose 2mm track width the you only neede to cut 1 mm off the ball. I looked at my car and I can screw the top ball in until the upright touches the top arm. So there is no need to cut the ball I think.

;) Julius, I've been meaning to ask, I know working for Serpent must be very profitable, but isn't it a bit MUCH to put a picture of your private plane on your posts??
It's too bad my private plane is always full of passengers that always want to go somewhere else than I do :flaming:
KLM also would object slightly if I were to make a 500km/h flyby of the Serpent factory :D

No not an oversight. With the tower in "your" position it's difficult to reach the front screws of the diff holders. Putting the tower further back would have made the hole for the tower mounting screws shorter = weaker. So the slight angle is intentional.

You are on track the way you respond to questions...a seperate post for each question and sometimes two posts for 1 question.

MISSING FRONT ONE WAY GEAR

Julius,I am assuming you are with Serpent.I bought the 710 and it has the wrong front one way gear. What is in my kit appears to be a diff gear with 3 pins on back side and round hole in middle instead of hex.Hobby shop says call Serpent USA,Serpent USA is closed for 2 weeks and probably won,t have parts anyway. Can you be of any assitance on this.Don,t mean to put you on the spot just trying to get help. Thanks

That's an easy way out for a hobby shop! I'd assume they are the ones to contact Serpent USA. So much for customer service.

In all fairness, there is not a lot I can do....
Serpent USA is the right place to help you. You could try to send an e-mail to Ronald Baar at Serpent HQ. [email protected]
