It has the "MS" on the head. I think it came from Paolo's collection from the World Championship. Just my guess.

Did the Serpent drivers use any of the aluminum parts on their cars? Front sway bar levers, upper front arm mounts, etc.?

Yes, some did use sway bar levers, upper brackets, "X" brace, engine mount, mid shaft bracket, etc...

At the Winternats they were standard kit parts apart from the longer servo saver - I didn't check to see if the middle bearing bracket or radio plate X brace were alu.

I saw quite a few cars in the snake pit that use the upper front A-arm king pin mounts in Alu. It looks fast...

I saw so many cars I can't remember who's car had what parts but I'm pretty sure they were using the motor mounts and mid-shaft brackets. I saw Paolo's car at the state race and he had the orange upper brackets.

I only really saw Rene's and Michael's cars up close - Mr Fmolzer and myself almost managed to swap MS's car for Fmolzer's own :D Unfortunately MS realised just as we thought we'd pulled it off

I don't know why he would care. He could have run a 13.0 with my car.

Was he running a front one-way?

He may not have, but we did :D Although I think his car would have been undriveable for me.
He was using a front one-way, which was quite nice to drive, actually, but he had set his rear diff to almost solid - for me, even only slightly tight and the car fish-tailed all over the place.

Maybe you had a lot more power than him.:D

Were you using the same shore tire?

Yep, must have been the uncontrollable power of the JP
Yeah, he was also using 40 shore....basically he was driving his 1:10th like a 1:8th - add to this his skill level and the answer is clear  I suck!

 Precisely... I thought the same way too. No way one could drive with the rear diff so tight ! But these guys manage to TQ with those setups. Perhaps it's the way they drive. :(

He said he just hits the throttle coming out of the corner and the car goes where he wants it to - divine intervention if you ask me
