I've got three of these shells made up and I'm bringing an old basher to do practice with - hopefully at least one shell will survive for me to take home

You may want to cut out the rear window, and put in a windshield vent hole:

To mine, too - especially as I nearly sliced off my finger with my scalpel doing some trimming *OW*

You know, when you're racing, you're bound to do lots of stupid stuff you thought you never do... I'm pretty sure when you come back, you can tell us all about it.

 Like how my new Mega burst into flames because I hadn't cut holes in my shell, even though everyone told me not to forget :D

Weird how the most bizzar things go wrong: at my track (as yet the only race I've completed), I suddenly lost a couple of the body-post support thingies :weird: no idea where they went - that'd never happend before.
At Sow's track, both my battery packs went dead before the car had even moved in the qualifying round :weird: :flaming: but I think Sow had been powering his protoype electronic telescope from my packs :flaming:

Yep - it is planned - D always reminds me anyway

Hmm better check those ROAR rules regarding wing placement and height.

Hey, D, you're slowing down - how come you didn't notice I had cut my wing down http://3hobby.net/images/blocks/shou...wistedevil.gif http://3hobby.net/images/blocks/shou...wistedevil.gif

I also had something went wrong with my receiver pack... Ummm, now you got me thinking. I supposedly had my venerable wingman charge that same receiver pack the night before...:sneaky:

Oh forgive me MASTER... Too much fatigue. Age catching up I guess...

But when you pack, take the rear wings out. Easier that way. And yes, regarding hole dimensions and stuff like that, best is to cut when you're there at the track.

  You don't think the dark lord has possed him, do you  Easy to spot: doesn he use a telescope from the driver's stand?

Age must be catching up with you D *sigh* This was exactly what I had planned - normally you would have suggest this before my old brain had even thought of anything in that direction....oh man, it's looking bad for you, D :D
