Originally posted by InitialD I would just replace the piston sleeve if I know the following; 1. Bearings are in good working order. Not gritty. 2. Crankshaft crankpin is still good and a new conrod will still fit tightly around the crankpin. But still if it was me and the bearings and crankshaft are already no good, I would still replace the piston sleeve and the necessary parts. With all of it changed, it is still half cheaper than going the new engine route... At the end of the day, it's your call. can u get it for me...i TT the RM  |

Originally posted by jfc_tech pls suggest me a good reliable engine to go along with the Seven ten. But of all engines, I really like the Novarossi RRL5 engine. |
Originally posted by InitialD Why not get JP-FX engine? Their ceramic bearings are good and they last pretty long. But of all engines, I really like the Novarossi RRL5 engine. |
Originally posted by jfc_tech i heard someone used it at the recent Tour with a disastrous outcome  Originally posted by jfc_tech Never heard that here...RRL5...all i know NSR S5. How to order that?...is it tuned by anyone? or should i say to my lhs, order the Nova RRL5... Yes, just ask them to order an RR12L5 engine. Should be around the same price range as a normal NS/NSR engine. http://www.novarossi.it/eng/rr12l.htm |
