The egg-shaped spacer is an eccentric cam and allows you to correct the droop once you install the anti-roll bar. You should set the front droop without the front anti-roll bar installed. But once you have re-installed the anti-roll bar after setting the droop, you'll find a slight difference in the droop right and left. You use the cam to correct this back to what you set.

Cheers, Mark.

I can adjust the droop by rotating the cam? Why does tightening the screw cause the suspension to bind? I have the aluminum sway bar mounts, if that makes any difference.

Thanks

You set your droop with the screws without the anti-roll bar connected, but then you have to re-adjust them once you re-connect the anti-roll bar with the eccentric cam to get the left and right droop equal - otherwise there would be a difference between the two sides.

Ah, yes, forgot to mention about the alu bar mounts. You need to clean up the hole where the bar mounts mount onto the suspension bar pin.
Take a 3mm drill-bit and let it run through this hole a few times - it just takes a tiny bit of material off - enough to free up the movement of the suspension arms again

Cheers, Mark.

Suppose that show that the quality must be ok and that the bladed anti-roll bar is an effective mod for the car. Would be interesting to compare his setup with Michaels, to see if the 2.5mm or 3mm is approximate equivatlent to the setup which Fantini has.

Mark, this blade rear ARB should be better (stiffer) because unlike the other one, the cross-members are made of al. If the fittings are all precise then there is no slop or flexing.

Most if not all 1/8th cars use rear blade ARBs. Like the front, you now get fine adjustments in the rear too.
