Hi,

If you want to lighten your car I would use the Alu screws made by Serpent.

I have them all over my car and they are stronger then the steel one's.

Bye, Thomas

 Stronger than steel  I can't believe that the Alu screws are stronger than the steel ones.

Hi,

The first time you build the car, and screws will be done in the bulkheads etc, use the steel one's to pre-tread the holes.
Then you take those out and replace them for the Alu one's.

I never had any problem with them.
While I have stripped several steel screws, specially the allen type.

Bye, Thomas

Thomas, if I'm not mistaken, the Serpent aluminum screws are M4... No?

Hi, about the new servo saver...is it better for all tracks? or just for some, fast, technial etc.

Does it give a smaller steering radius, or more/less ackerman?

Thank you

Aluminum-beryllium is.

I don't want to pay $10 per screw though... :D

Anyway, I'm using a lot of Al screws (from www.fastener-express.com) on low stress areas in the car without problems. That includes al M4's. I haven't had the guts to try them on the shocktowers, shocks, steering etc.

Recently I replaced all those screws (high stress) with Ti. The car has no symptoms of rejection of the Ti screws so far, which is remarkable since they are made by Mugen.

Hi like to explain a problem I had with my first 710.

I have two 710 one (first) have a fuel tank with a white filter and the other (second) have a fuel tank with a copper fuel filter.

I had a problem with the first one (white filter) last wee, the engine will stop as soon as I stop the car I change the three engine with the same result, at the en I change Fuel Tank (my spare tank is with the old white filter) and problem solve.

Now few month ago in MYTSN there was an issue of a problem with this fuel tank but it was in German so I really don’t now what was the problem.

I started using on my last Gallon of Byron 20% / 12% fuel the additive NITRO BLAST.

My question is, could it be that my problem is due to the tank failure (white filter) or cause by the Nitro Blast in the fuel?

Thanks for any feet bank on this issue.

Hmm, but what happens if you have a race with a Mugen - maybe suddenly the screws will be suddenly attracted to the Mugen car :O

Did you buy the screws individually or simply the bag of screws for the MTX-3?
