OK not sure if i'm seeing things but when you look at the front ball diff it looks like he has Hudy spring steel outdrives. This may be to stop the wear from the dogbones.

Yup. I'm seeing it too. In the front but not behind. But I'm pretty sure it's behind also as the problem is more evident in the rear than the front. More evident if you use hard braking.

p/s: I'm pretty sure you have a young pair of eyes unlike the older guys here.

Spot on B4

I have been trying to get my hands on some for about 2 weeks but can't find them anywhere? Have you got any? and where did you get them.

Julius

Is serpent working on a fix for the outdrives problem?

Are you looking at releasing a hardened version?

Hey, I saw it, too, I saw it, too :D

Hope Serpent bring the Hudy stuff out, then Fastharry has to take his ex-wife out for a meal - he was so sure Serpent wouldn't be offering Hudy Spring Steel anymore, that he agreed to do this if Serpent did

I think it will also be helpful if you ever get accidently rear ended by somebody else. Prevents the bodyshell from getting stuck under the wheels.
I have both pro and con about the rear additional body posts that are supposedly prevent the shell gets stucked under the rear wheel wells. If the car is rear ended, wouldn't those additional body posts add more pressure onto the rear shock tower and hence it could break ?

redsand 10-11-2004 11:58 PM

At that point in time, I always say to myself that sedan body on a gas car is a joke - no pun intended- :D . Look at it, holes are literally everywhere, on the windshield, on the roof, some on the back, and both of side windows. Not much less refueling, it is a PITA.:(

I think they will... Just a matter of time. I just have a sneaky suspicion that the Hudy factory is tied up with the XB8 buggy on top of their current demand on Xrays etc. Look at the XB8 buggy ! All those PRECIOUS Hudy spring steel stuff wasted on that car !    I don't know how many outdrives can be made with one buggy's worth of Hudy springsteel.:(

I'm interested in the two rearward facing "turbo black exhausts" that sort of warns those tailing to BACK OFF!

What orange parts? Oh! You mean the tubing?

More than anything, what I notice is how Michael is trying to get some anti-dip with the front orange block. Look at the setting of the spacers ...
