make sure the grubs are not sticking up in the two speed shoe, and then file off any burr that may be there.

If you go over and read some of the talk-balk on Peter's article about 1:8th, you'll see one common issue: 1:8th racers are too serious and that's probably why the calss is dying. p/s: I tend to agree, in KL that scale is an "elite" few. They certainly try hard to encourage new members and I hope the effort continues. |

okay here was my end point.. time for bed, but the car looks like something..
notes.. plastic is much different to old serpent parts, lots easier to put screws into, I like the layout... but the diffs are not that easy to get in and out, but easier.. new centax.... looks okay think I will be buying my gears in pairs and keeping them screweed together.. now back to building..:) |

Argh ... don't give up now! you're making quick progress there :D Now, if you have a webcam and linked to some robots, we'd be more than happy to help you build it  |

I think it's due to the burrs in the shoe. It was slightly grabbing the 2nd speed spur housing btu I continued to install and set as per the manual. After running the car, the grabbing is no more. |
the max was okay... I was not pleased with it so I changed some inside stuff and redid it in something more to my liking...
fredrick wants to build his own, thank god.... so it is patiently waiting for him to get off the beach and come home... |

I mentioned to Fredrik that most mod engines have very lousy fuel economy but factory mod engines like the NovaMax has a pretty efficient fuel consumption.
