Now I know why I was so slow at the AMCC - not only did I only have slicks which had been greased  my front left lower suspension arm is cracked  That must have cost me at least two seconds a lap. But, at last I've broken something on my glass car *phew*

Servo Saver Spring
Guys, I went to the LHS to get the complete servo linkage setup. My LHS happened to have 2 kits that was canibalised for parts.
I found that in those 710 kits, the steering linkage and servo saver parts had 2 springs. Silver one is 10.6 mm in length and 1.4 mm thick wires while the black one is 9.6 mm in length and 1.3 mm in length and with lesser coils ! It seems that the black one is softer ! http://pic13.picturetrail.com/VOL456...1/69000830.jpg Question is do you guys noticed this when you built your kit or have this black spring at all packaged in your kit? Especially those who said they already built their second 710 kit?   Is this black spring an optional one or is it used somewhere else? I thought mine only came with only one silver spring. Thanks. |

Originally posted by InitialD Congrats on the breaking ! Well I guess it happened at one of those times when you used the 710 for lawnmowing services.    Maybe it was a lawnmower, or Sow!  With it being the left arm, it more than likely was broken at the AMCC. |
