Are you having problems with the stock Serpent flanged wheel nuts? The rims should fit fine on the 710. On the 705, it did with some little work. The rim of the Jaco Nitro Shoes allocates a very limited spot to be able to screw the wheel nut in.

Either change your wheel nut to use ordinary ones (that sucks I know) that do not have flanges or use a dremel to open the space wider to accomodate the Serpent wheel nut.

I went to LHS to see the 710 today. Serpent is right, its a completely different car!
Looks nice.... REALLY SWEET 4mm chassis!
From a quick glance, I notices more "square" shaped arms. The front upper arms are thinner, which is great since we had problems with top a-arms rubbing rims when turned too much...
The stiffners are thicker than before!!
THe weakest part might be the lower rear arm.

 I believe the top A arms were never a problem on the 705 or the Impulse PRO. I think you're referring to the steering knuckles. The steering knuckles on the 710 is the same optional FC steering knuckles that you mount on the 705. I've mentioned this before that the FC steering blocks (710 front steering blocks) will give better clearance for different types of rims.

Which stiffeners are you referring to? The side carbon graphite stiffeners?

Anyway, didn't you get Mark's D1? Where are the photos?:flaming:

I guess he's referring to the side stiffeners.

They aare mounted in a better way as well. Instead of centering on a countersunk screw, they center on a notch on the bulkheads. That way the stiffness is improved and the plates will no longer move during a crash tweaking the chassis.

I'd like a car of my own thank you! :p
I have to wait until all you guys have yours and see if one is left for me.....

 Really? But what's the hurry? Does not make a difference if you have to wait since you can only play after 3 to 4 months down the road, right?
