Well the RDLogics Swing Shafts was a short-lived experiment that never made it to the track. I installed them and, of course they were heavier, but I was willing to live with that. What i could not live with is the slop. it wasn't much (~.5mm), but that was I all i needed to see to know that these are not going to make it for me. They are in my parts box as emergency spares, but, i put the bones and axels back in.
I will take this opportunity to say "Bravo" to Serpent. The standard axles roll perfectly free and with ZERO play, just like they did before i messed with the swing shafts... You don't know what you have 'till it's gone - true, true. pd |
