Ok, I've just finished building my 966 and have up until now been running the 960-08.

I have set the 960 to full flex at the rear. If anyone can remember, what was their first impressions after driving the 966 over the 960?

You don't need any shims on your 2 speed shaft, up to 1mm end play is good, nothing to worry about, it is there for a reason

Same with the Front one way axle Bobby, it needs to have the end play.

More rear traction without compromising steering and an added benefit is that it opens up the rear making it easier to work on.

Got the new Evo kit today and started assembling somewhat.
Really impressed with the overall buildquality and overall partsquality, did have to file a bit on the front A-arms to make them not bind but thats to be expected on any car to be honest.

Funny thing is that I had so many issues assembling my 811 but the 966 feels so much more thought out. But then again Serpent has been making onroad cars for 30 years or more and they only just started making offroad cars so
Gonna be interesting to see how it performs compared to my old Mugen

Oh yea by the way, what setting are you guys using for the front belt? I have the tensioner in default atm but it seems a bit loose

/Die hard Serpent fan.

Make sure that the insert in the steering upright is not cracked. The insert that holds the bearing
