It's lighter first of all so lower rotating mass=more acceleration. It's heavier than all the other cars 2speed trans.
Like Salven said in the video, he's moving to a more "modern" design or should I say latest "Trend" design. The old one works just fine but it needed an update.

if you had problems with the old design go for the new one.if not just buy the suspension improvements.

The two speed can make a big difference when you looking at acceleration.

In the picture above, thats not the normal brass weight is it? Is this something new also or am I not seeing right? Is this some part im not aware of?

Hi guys, I'm quite new to 1/8 and was wondering if it is normal and ok for the two speed shaft to have some play (side to side)? It's just I re-built mine tonight and have noticed some play (1mm or so) that I'm sure wasn't there before. I have a 960 by the way.
