Steve I have a couple of questions:

1. On your answering machine, is there a beep after your message to tell me to start talking? Reason I ask is I left a couple of messages awhile back and I don't think you got them. You might have heard 2 words on each.

2. On your tire combos, are the Yok wheels the nylon ones or the ABS hard plastic ones? Same Q on the Speedtech's wheels in those combos. These were the questions I left the messages for.

I know you're not dissing me. J/K Mr. Speedtech.

BTW don't BS with HeyAlignmentGuy too much or he'll spread rumors about you talking alot of sh** like he did to me that time we went down to LA.

Sydewyder,

I'm gonna have to change the message on the machine...and maybe a new phone company (verizon isn't all that great)

for the rims, the Speed Tech R/C Tire combo rims are Yokomo ABS rims.

The Yoke rims are all nylon except for TW-0512-2, TW-0512-2A, TW-112A and TW-112 (I think those are the right part numbers)

My take on ABS vs. Nylon. I prefer ABS rims because they are stiffer and do not flex during hard cornering. Some people say they break easier if you crash, that is true because they are harder. But with Nylon rims when you crash, you bend them, which makes them useless. With ABS, sometime you can put a drop of CA on the cracked part and you can still get away running them.

Post Hop ups

Hi Steve,

We have never met or even talked, so i would like to introduce myself, my name is David Vargas. I am brand spanking new to r/c and i ordered a NTC 3 RTR and i am wondering what should i get as either extra parts or hop ups, stuff like that???

This is what i have.
(on the way)
NTC 3 RTR
Transmitter case
3 OS #A3 glow plugs
Glow wrench
DuraTrax Standard Screwdriver Set w/Pouch
After run engine oil
Glow starter

(i have already)
500cc fuel bottle
250cc fuel bottle
Nitro fuel

So i should be set when my car and stuff gets here to start bashing.

I just bought a fuel filter today, and i bought a BMW 328 Ci body.

Is there anything that you would recommend getting?? Anything you think of let me know. i would be greatful.

Thanks for your help,
David

Hi Dave,

Looks like you got most of everything. I would consider some spare parts (arms, hub carrier, bulkhead...etc.) to have in case you break something

Have fun, and good luck!
