Talking I want an onroad nitro...

I want an onroad nitro car. I have an rc10gt so I know the basics of nitro. I want to know the best car for the money. Doesn't have to be too fast, but not pussy slow either.

what do you plan to do with the car?

The answer is easy, pick the one you like the best. If you pick an Associated NTC3, a Mugen MTX3, a Serpent 705, an HPI R40, a Trinity/Team Magic GT4 or any of the other top of the line cars, you'll get a good competative car. All of them handle great. All of them have their strong points and weak points. Pick the one you like the best and has good local parts support and you are ready to rock. Speed is in the gearing and the motor you choose.

there is alot of good onroad cars out right now...it really depends on what you are gonna do with the car race it or bash it...ntc3 great car, hpi's good cars, n4tec pretty good car..so i guess it will come down to if you are gonna race or not and your price range..i do alot of bashing myself i have a n4tec with a 12cvrx and a hpi rs4 3 ss which both work great for bashing but probably wouldnt be to great for racing..

Heh...my local HobbyTowns stock Traxxas and HPI.

The other local hobby shop stocks a little more, but I donno if they can get Serpent.

I don't have any local support for my 705, and I still went with it because it's the best, if not one of the best touring cars out there today.

Like you said, it's all personal preference.

a champ car doesnt necessary to be a good car! if you give barry a very inexpensive RTR he would still kick lots of a55e5
