The New G2 Tc3 Chassis Kit
#17
the ae box screws down to the 4 posts.very solid set-up.i liked the aluminum box myself,im just listening to common problems that people had with the box.bbntc3 said that he bent his.this will not happen again.as for the switchi left the option to the people,i shoo goo mine to the side of the box.very strong, less screws and you have the option of putting it where you want.also by going to this new setup,i was actually able to lower the receiever box.hope you guys like it.i put alot into this one and also brought my costs way up due to excessive machining time.im more about the product than the money.please feel free to email me with any questions at [email protected]thanks for your interest guys

Isaac: Why not strip the car down and take it to a machinist. I think you can take the G1 and turn it into a G2 chassis, or close to a G2, other than the engine mounting issues, which can be fixed by making another set of engine mounts, offsetting the engine about .070 foward.
I don't understand why anybody had to hack the G1 chassis up with a dremmel, I have the first chassis sold and use it with 4 different engines and 2 different clutch and fuel tank combos. Other than making a set mounts it all works out well.

dont worry guys,i fixed every minor problem that the chassis kit had.i am confident to say that it is perfect,i dont want to sound big headed but i spent numerous hours making sure that i would be more than satisfied if i was buying it.the only guywho has actually raced this new g2 chassis at my lhs took my track record from me.i usually run unbeaten untill now.the only cars that ever beat me are ones that have my chassis on it.i guess i did it to myself

hooked on,
i havent had any problems with air bubles in the fuel line on this chassis but someone at my local track said
that he runs an external fuel filter in line with his fuel line and about 8 inches of fuel tubing.i dont know what it would do for you,but its worth a shot.you can also try 2 orings with a washer in between them.i also heard some people try that.i use to have this problem with the stock chassis,i added extra fuel line and it seemed to calm it down.hope that helps ya

hey, what do you guys think about a ready to run tc3 done up by b.m.i. racing.a rear exhaust non pull start kit,os .12 tr engine, futaba radio,ae bump box,b.m.i. chassis, the fix,and rear turnbuckle jam nuts.i can probably do this and sell it for $699.99.
let me know what you guys think and if its worth it for me to try.thanks guys

That's cool Jay! Maybe instead, just do a rolling chassis deal, with or without oneway. Leave radio gear and engine choice up to the buyer? Then if it sells, maybe then tie up the extra money in the radio and engine combo. Just a thought.

I love my original chassis. My biggest problem was the pinions not clearing the back brace. i need to improve my driving but other than that i love it. I like the new fixes to the G2.
