Anyone have this engine? Andy opinion or thought of this engine? I'm trying to buy it.

get the NS12 engine if it is available at your LHS. NS is far more superior then RS12 but you need to pay a bit more for the NS.

I'm not so sure about "far superior".

I saw a couple of NS running and although they are fast, they are not THAT much faster than a good RS

be fair, you need to compare ordinary NS vs ordinary RS, not a good RS !

oh well, i just brought a rs12 s1 turbo, it's pretty fast. just finish with break-in, i'm trying to lean a little bit more

Default Hmmmmm!

I think I would have to agree with Stefan on this one! Far superior is a little over kill! The NS does have a slight edge over the RS. And for the price difference I would take the RS, a cold brewski and a half hour with my dremal tool

When I say it popped I mean that the piston shattered, but it later turned out that the idiot who owned it B4 try 2 do a bit of modifying himself 2 the piston, he tryed to lighten it and made the walls 2 thin ( the engine was already a JP modifyed). But anyway the S1 are still good but not as strong as an S3 which I would get.
