Onroad club race Saturday, 8/16/08
1/8th 4WD Gas Onroad
1/10th Gas Onroad
To all you IGT (Inferno GT) drivers:
Practice for the rcpro F-1 World Champs by running in this club race.
3/4 Layout
ATTENTION: $10.00 dollas to run 1 class, $15.00 to run 2 classes.
We were charging $15.00 to race 1 class and so on. But $10.00 for 1 class sounds so much better.

will be closing.
The current owners have lost the lease on the property. I have removed
all my equipment and will no longer be working at the track.
I know a few people that will be try to work things out with the
management company that own the property to keep the race tracks
going.
For all of you racers, this week they will be racing off-road one last
time. On road 2 more times. One club race this weekend and the RC Pro
1/5 race Aug 20th to the 24th
I will be there one last time to run on the oval Sunday Aug 17th.
Thanks to all of you racers and the company’s that have supported SV
and me over the past year.
Come out and enjoy the track.

Wow, that's some heavy news!!! 
Just I was starting to gear up for driving at that track.........
I guess I'll just have to wait and see how things turn out. I understand the economics if they aren't getting the turn out required to keep up the lease, but it sucks just the same.

Yes Garen, it's true. I was waiting for Bill Mc to contact me this morning before releasing the news here on tech. Since it's out in Sgrid, might as well let it be known.
One last onroad race for my nitro peeps! Saturday afternoon racing starts at 4:00. The current fastest lap (on 1/8th fwd, 3/4 layout) was 13.66 by Mr. Chris Verano on a Picco powered Shepard. Who's gonna go after that record one last time?

Man, I sure hope there's some way to save the facilities. I know I'm a "late comer" to the SV raceway, but it's a nice track and by far the best one closest to me. I'd be willing to join a club or something that might be able to keep the facilities operating.
I know there could be a few improvements, but it seems like the tracks are worth the effort.

Talked to Marvin tonight, he is quite upset. They only gave him until the 23rd of this month to clear out. 
I own the two containers used for the on-road race direction (not the drivers stands) I was told get them out of there or loose them. Anyone want a great deal on custom office containers? email me [email protected]

Kel pls let us know if there is a chance that someone will take over and keep the speedway going !!! dont mind paying membership if that would help, me and my son Eyan really love that place
