In my opinion any of them can be suited to any size of track. I preferd MR12, it has smaller cranck case volume and I personaly no need to fight with extanded crancase volume, easier for me.
But it is pesonal preference for racer.

I'd suggest the MR12. I've seen several racers with them and they have all ran well. I raced my NS12S3 at the HobbyTown track here in Austin against a MR12 and it was almost as fast. The difference increases on a bigger track like the SWCS, but for a smaller track, it's not that different.

7-8 tanks per set, stays easy aganst any 5 port outlaw ( actualy passing all of them on any part of track), temperature ( I don't mesure at all) but somebody came and mesure it, was 205-217 F, run time-this is most unbelivble I have never see-between 7min 35 second to 8 min 08 second. Timed four times. Still don't belive it and didn't analize it yet, will do it tonight. Didn't change tunning between swapping the Piston sleeve sets, just swap the sets and no needle was touched at all. My next step is to check how long it will last at this performance.
Dino, saw your "Dragon" 5 port. Very impressive engine. I just noticed the guys Had hard time to tune it, but performance was good.
WOW!!!

I measured my Sirio .12's conrod pin on the crank at 4.44-4.46mm. Is that too small? Seems like the conrod moves around on it quite a bit.

they are suppose to be on the same level as NS12 and NOVAMAX engines.
For half the price.

in my opinion, Novarossi and novarossi based engines dont have exceptional quality.

I am comparing them to O.S

I am not sure about the STS, but I would not be surprised if the quality is better than that of novarossi.

OK, finally I've learned some new stuff here. OS quality is higher than Novarossi and STS quality is higher than Novarossi. So why there are many people buy the high price and low quality stuff.

the performance of novarossi engines is top notch, thats why.

I am not saying that they are bad at all. In fact, I run a novarossi based engine myself.

I am just saying that other brands, such as STS, though not as popular, still deserve a chance, for they too, are powerful engines.

Default Novarossi

Hey guys. I can't find on Novarossi web site any more statment which is prohibiting modding of Novarossi products. They remove it or I just can't find it?
thanx for advance for right direction.

Default Engine keep dying on idle

I have a Novarossi T5 S1 5 port engine and just broken in.
The problem i have is i have to replace new glow plug every few tanks and i have tried all High/Low/idle needle setting but the engine still died on idle (But the engine has a lot of power and running very good. about 210 - 230 degree once i am able to run it)Whenever i let it idle more than 2 seconds. It will die right away. I found out that if i let the Glow igniter on the glow plug, it will not die at idle. But it is a new glow plug and i have been doing that for last 3 praticeS. Someone told me that i may need to try to add a 0.1 mm shim under turbo head? Anyone knows why is doing that and what is the problem.
