Hi

Has anybody tried fitting a Lola VDS body to the FW-05? What parts do you need and is it possible?

Thanks

yah, it is the full chassis conversion

I saw it at www.pro-s-futaba.co.jp

price is not cheap though, but a lot cheaper than other places.

Still, not that it is more expensive than the kit itself by a bit

to fit lola bodies, you must buy the front bumper set for the vone rr evo= real cheap. it gives you front wide bumper and the front angled body mount. if you have the stock shock towers, you will require to cutbig wholes, unless you want to cut thin ones with carbon towers. i think kawahara makes the front shock stay which doesn't require you to cut the body. also one thing, running vds is much more fun than normal tc bodies (not to mention it's cheaper!), and handles much better as well. but 1 thing is that the handle/rollbar don't keep you engines's head protected, so one flip, it'll get scarred...goodluck!

I was afraid of that. Does any make a decent roll bar! Even with a T.C. body it is still not worth a damn.

Jeffryelin,

Are you going to be back in the States soon? RC heat is hosting 2 events. Norco and Castle park back to back. April 25 and th following sunday. Hope to run with ya.

Default Race Report

I was in a race tonight in Taiwan with the FW05R. Broke my car earlier and did not get much practice and only qualified 3rd in the B. The main was 30 minutes and was leading for much of the race until I ran out of battery with 2 minutes left!!!!

The car held up great. Took a few hits from overzealous drivers and a big crash at the end of straight when I ran out of juice. But the car held up and the only thing broke was the muffler poped out.

Just wondering. Does the Kyosho car require a bunch updates to be competitve or does it work well out of the box. I currently run a NTC3 and I am looking to get a second car, but want something else non belt.

Was you using rubber or foam tyres? What hardness?

Thanks
