Default Parts

Hi guys,

I've been running my fw-05r for approx 5 months now. Have chimed in a couple of times but mainly been following the thread. I logged into Kyoshoamerica the other day and didn't see the FW-05RR available nor parts. Do you guys also have trouble finding parts locally? Will this change, and will I have to convert to RR version, doesn't seem to be many R parts around any more.

I have a question about the RR rear, is the shock mount config diff, the reason why I ask is I tried to mount the 3R RR rear shock tower and it doesn't seem to fit. What do I need to convert?

On another note, I have Ofna 120 wght diff oil in the front diff, makes it tough to turn(diff action, not car turning) and the car really handles well w/ this set-up, even on tight technical tracks.

Thanks,
Havy

Hi impalabob64.. I would like to try that too. What diff oil did you use in combination with that locked front? Thanks in advance!

The shock tower part #VS026 is the same for both the 05r and 05rr. My guess is there is a problem with the 3r part.

didn't you hear marcos - bobby's car is dialed in

so softer frt (softer spring, shock oil, and slanted shock angle, coupled with A ackerman) - gives better on power steering?

Thumbs up hey Bundyman

Marcos is right ,i checkout the traction, then i decide what i think would work. i really dont like 35 but, if traction is not to the car,s liking 35 on the rear only.Right now i love running the jaco nitroshoes 38shore frt an rear 59 frt 60rear. 39t ringgears i save my 37,ringgears for the bigtracks.i run my tires alittle taller in rear the is for when power through a swiper.
