Well said superk,

I would encourage johny king, if he's still around reading this thread, to get any car and learn to drive it! Every car has pros and cons. There will never be a "perfect car" for anyone.

great decision! You wouldn't regret getting the 705. Let us know how the car works out for you.

cheers,

Nice choice!! Even tho...It's kind a hard for me to get parts for serpent around here since there is only 3 driver who run the serpent in my local area. I usually stock my own parts as I go along. One piece here one piece there.... but..I mostly got all I need if any thing will happen to the car. Infact...I have 3 serpents ..one Impulse pro and 2) 705's most of their parts are the same. Some time buy another car for parts will worth the money.

This is my 3rd season of racng... it seem like my driving and car tunning skill are gettng betterr. Just try not to hit any thing during the race...that will save you and me lots and lots of parts!

Hey Johnny_King,

Good choice. The 705 is a nice car (as is the MTX-3 in general). I dont have anything against the Mugen (other than the poor design of the lower rear wishbones) and anyone that says its a poor car either has not run one or just is not what would be classed as a real racer .

I have worked on nearly all the different cars on the market over the past few months and in general I actually found the Serpent the easiest to set up true. I mean true as in can brake very hard in a straight line with a one-way unit in the front without the rear end snapping loose.

I did also manage this with the Yokomo but it took some time to get the car balanced perfectly.

If you are able to come along and watch the Irish National Championship round at St. Ann's park and we can hook up and talk about the car.
