The engine fails or performs depending the exhaust.....
The question is if you want torque or RPM's, JP has higher ports for more RPM's. I have the JP and I love it.

Strictly an opinion based statement!! I have seen the 359 in action many times and it has been by far the most consistent out of all the .21 I have seen. As far as the other engine that comes with it...it is very capable of winning many club races ( GEARED CORRECTLY ). The pratice motor is great to keep the wear down on your 359. Also another thing to consider is the track that you are running on. Is it tight and technical or free flowing? Many question has to be asked before choosing the right engine. Here at my local track (301 Raceway) the motors are put thru their paces numerous times. If the JP has more top end and the reliability is the same or better then go with the JP. Once I see more JP's running at 301 and making it thru a full days worth of pratice and racing...I may have another opinion!! But untill then I will have the 359 in my holster. BANG

Both engines runs awesome on the Sirio 2013 pipe and also with easy 5 minutes. You need to change the 2nd gear on the gearbox 1 teeth smaller to get speed, the pipe has a lot of torque but a little bit less rpm.
With this pipe I run with the JP on my mugen 17/20 on 50/45
The Novarossi 2052 pipe with the short or middel conical manifold works also very good on both engines, the JP is a screamer but has noticeable a little bit less bottom power, reaching 5 minutes is a bigger problem.
Once on a small track I did run 16/19 on 50/47 and it was realy fast.
