It is still there, but now it's more mini motard and go karts. They still do 1/4 scale, and there's a dirt.
Sucks that they don't do 1/8 any more.

I ran my 1/8 and 1/10 there on two occasions last year. The surface was redone the end of 2006. If we could get a dedicated groups of racers to run there as often as the offroad track gets used, there is a slight chance of revival.

BTW, if anyone reading this wanted to hold a race event there, hit up the moderator for the Onroad/Offroad threads, he's the race director. He could setup info with the track owner. A large race there would not be discouraged. Around the first on the year, I usually start posting in the onroad forums to gather any interest I can for the big track. I also ran my Kyosho IGT on it last year, it was a blast.

You ran an IGT on the big track??? And the motor lived???
I raced on that track once at the 2002 regional. I raced 1/10 open (235mm) and touring car. I loved that track! I don't know why people stopped going there.

, The hobby shop is located to the left of the track, they say they can get Kyosho, but they don't stock them.

The main reason the onroad has died out is the lack of an onroad race director. The last one moved away and no-one stepped up to take over. The offroad still is strong, as that, the local racers have moved up and become the the program directors. There are a couple guys who do 95% of the work, which leaves them no time for the onroad aspect of the facility. So basically the track needs a dedicated onroad director for revival.
