BTW, guys.......

If you stay at La Quinta, make sure you request a 1st floor room...they have no elevator.......( I learned that lesson last week at the HPi Challenge at 301........Nothing like hauling all those bags up stairs after a full day of racing.....)

And to be real honest, the next time I will stay at the Comfort inn next door.......There rates are only 20 bucks more, but they have a pool........and little nicer rooms.....

Wanted to clear something up ...... pre race on-line & mail-in registration for the 1/8th On-Road Nats closes tonight at midnight. If you plan on mailing in your entry make sure it goes out today. If you plan on signing up on-line and paying via pay pal that has to be done before midnight CST TODAY!!!!

We will be taking registration at the track for this race up to the 200 entry limit. Right now there's about 70 open spots left. So entries will be first come first serve at the track starting Thursday morning, Sept. 4th. The 20$ late fee is being waived but as I said it's first come first serve up to the 200 entry limit and it's cash or check only.

See you guys week after next!!!!!!!

Hey does anyone know if the New bodies from Italy will be allowed in the Roar 1/8th scale nationals since they are not readily available. I know that the Parma bodies are easy to get.

Just a reminder racers ... INS boxes will be required for this race.

As far as approved bodies go, check the approvals list on the ROAR website http://www.roarracing.com/approvals/sbody.php.

See you all next week!!!!!

I will be arriving late Wed. evening. According to the flyer Thurs. is controlled practice from 8-6, and Fri. is controlled practice from 8-12ish. Is this correct?

Thanks,
Rick

Johnny ..... Thursday will be controlled practice in the morning/early afternoon with one practice heat round Thursday afternoon. Friday will be an early AM controlled and 2 rounds to start most likely around 10:00 am. If things get wrapped up early enough I'm sure the track can be opened for practice after quals have completed.
