Rich,

Per our conversations, we are trying to put together a Inferno GT (sorta... see below) class. In order to get the max interest possible we have some pretty simple rules.

Any 1/8th based buggy chassis

Any engine .28 or smaller

Rubber tires (no foams)

Sedan type body

If anyone has interest in running a 1/8th Kyosho Inferno-esq class get your registration to Rich pronto. We have 5 to 6 coming from Utah. Need more!!

Bill

Normally the Vegas races get about 4-6 heats each of 1/10th and 1/8th.

Oh yeah... Just make sure you have ROAR membership!

If not, you can always sign up for it at the track.

The rally cars in Italy are mostly belt driven right? They look really neat. I assume the rules for this class, at least at this event, are pretty relaxed, so is it safe to assume you can run similar cars from different brands such as OFNA DM, or one of the European brands?

The rules for this race are VERY relaxed. Primed for abuse... That was planned to get as much participation as possible. This will be a fun class....

Now for the serious side. We need anyone interested in running these cars at this race to get their entry fee in immediately... this weekend, hopefully. Rich has been gracious in even considering running a class other than usual 1/8th and 1/10th nitro. We can't leave him hanging. If you have any interest... get registered.

Just out of curiousity, are you IGT guys also running one of the other classes (1/10th and 1/8th) or only IGT?

This started as a road trip to run our 1/10th nitro sedans... we all also race the IGT and thought it would be a blast on the Vegas track... much bigger than any of the local tracks. Why do you ask?

Now I'm thinking about getting one. They aren't too expensive.
