Just got my new Ofna GTP2E, and I'm in the process of putting the remaining bits together.
Does anyone have some tips on putting the tires together? It looks like it's gonna be a nightmare with the two piece inserts. Do I put the small one on the rim first and the big one in the tire? How did you guys do it?

Kitchen, that car is SICK!!! Did you start with a Losi L8ight Model? That's impressive that you made your own front drive shaft. I may have to get with machine shop I work with and see how much it would cost to get a couple made, if I decide to make the switch.
You did a nice job with the conversion.

...a guy that I run off road with has a couple of CNC machines in his garage (like thats a normal sight ) I showed him what I needed...ask and ye' shall receive!...If your thinking about doing the same, you'll find that the car handles extremely well without having to source parts from another car except for the 2-speed and making a custom front drive shaft! everything else just has to be clearanced...that simple...

Guy's, I am looking into this class.
Is the two speed absolutely necessary?
I got to do this low buck for a bit.
Going to convert a buggy and run some old
off road motors I have.
If I need the two speed..Who makes the cheapest unit?
Got stuff sitting here going to waste, might
as well try and make it work.
