Hey josio as i know theres no problems with flat chassis because theres no rules other than rubber tires and centax clutch in gt. the only requirement is 280 dollars street price engine for this race!!!

Doug M mentioned on another thread that the motor limit was lifted for these races, here is the link:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/nitro-ro...raceway-2.html

Is this so? Since many are already planning to go this must be clarified so everyone is clear.

The 3 races in January for 1/8 GT will allow any .21 to .28 engine. There will not be a maximum price engine rule at these 3 races during January Speed Month at Homestead Raceway.

It was a good race weekend at the 2012 Gulf Coast Grand Prix!
It rained overnight Sat so the mains got started later due to that, but we got it in!

Gt Results:

Paul Coleman (TQ) 89 30:10.205
Bill Sydor. 86 30:14.034
Chad kiffe. 85 30:03.857

It was great meeting new GT8 drivers! Andy Liu was awesome and Bill Sydor was such a funny dude, and great driver! Bill and me where about 15 sec apart for most of the race until he had a tire wear out towards the end! Andy was running 3rd I think until he had motor issues I believe. It was great being back racing again! My Serpent was Freakin great!
Thanks to Mikes hobby shop for putting on a great race!!

I ran the Novarossi Plus 21 4C Factory Tuned 4 port buggy engine in the qualifiers. For the main I ran one of my old 35 plus 21s then had 3 flameouts, bearings need to be replaced.

Hey Boys... Wow what a great racing weekend. Congrats Paul for the win- that's 1 to 0, right now....Ha...

You guys have a great facility down there, too bad it's a 750 mile drive for me- or you would see me more often.

And for the motor I was running, O.S. XZ-B Speed. Humidity was real high for the tune, which also flamed out three times too.

Later,
Bill

I know a guy who could help you with that tune.
