Nice photos and video, thanks for posting those. We are still running our GTs here even though the weather can knock us out on any day.

I gotta say that this Alpha body and this type of body is what GT should be.
This body looks like a real car that I could actually see driving down the road, flying by me. The others around it dont. While the others are cool race cars the alpha body looks so much cooler and real!!

This for me is what GT's are all about. Look how much nicer and real this body looks compared to those around it.

I agree. Scale realism in RC is highly desired by many.

Hey whipnet, see if you can get some of the guys that have GT cars in your neck of the woods to dust them off and race them again. I know John Cooper is willing to run and if at least 3 GT guys from Austin are willing to travel, wel can get a base to work from as far as running in the SWCS and re-establishing the class.

I'll have mine finally running in a couple of weeks and then I plan to work with Mike's to setup a class here in Houston if possible.

If you guys can do that then that will be awesome. I'll see if other guys from Austin will be joining me to do some short travels next year to showcase these awesome GT cars.

Hello from France,
here's some news after the 4th round of the serie, held in Pau (south west of France).

After 4 rounds of qualifying (8mn) the TQ goes to the Brushless Tekin powered XRay 808E of Max Dejean.
Second place to JP Racing powered Hyper9 of Sebastian Carrere, and 3rd was Dider Cassagne with his Nova powered Shepis MZ2.

After the 35mn final, victory goes to Sebastian (6mn on a tank), 10 second behind is Max Brushless 808E (stop at 12 and 24mn - 50 seconds for changing the 6S LiPo). 7 seconds more is Cassagne (5mn on a tank) on third place..

Here's some pictures:

And the video of the start. Fiat 500 is Carrere, Violet Protoform Body is the Brushless Car of Max and the White/Yellow Audi A4 is Cassagne...(switch to 720HD movie)

Au revoir.

Awesome pics and video. I really like the "rallygame" off-road track that has the little bridge and ramps. Looks like it would be very fun to drive.
