New Radio Reciever HELP

This might be a silly question, however I need to know.

I own a JR-R1 radio with 40mhz receiver and it is labeled with a 58T (that is frequency?)
Anyway is it possible to buy another receiver with 40mhz and a freq of 58T and run it off the same radio, so I can control two cars with the same radio(not at the same time), or is it better to buy a new radio?

It is around $100 more expensive to buy a new radio with receiver and 2 servos.

Thanks

Sami

Hi ttektek,
You should be able buy a receiver (RX)on its own, which will enable you to run two models with the same transmitter. Not sure about JR as i'm using a KO MARS but the RX for the KO retails for about £60 I'm in the UK. Hope this helps :-)

Regards

Richard.

The answer is a big fat yes, you can! I have a futaba 3pdf and use it for both cars I race. Does your radio have multi-model memory however as trims and settings will generally differ beetween the cars.
