Are you going to offer a Mark Blackketter signature T-shirt in memory of his stunning win in '09, I mean '89

Maybe someone could talk Ralph into running one of Terry's RC500's. That would at least make it a close race. It's a shame such a great fuel driver was "lost" to electric

Ralph won two classes in '02. He won in '01, '99, '98, '96.

I know this is posted else where, but here is the list of winners:

2007: ????1/8, ????1/10 .12 200mm Sedan, ???? 1/8 Spec
2006: Scotty Barrera 1/8, Todd Bath 1/10 .12 200 mm Sedan, Tim Copp 1/8 Spec
2005: Mike Swauger 1/8, Mike Swauger 1/10.12 200 mm Sedan
2004: Sal DiFazio 1/8
2003: Mike Swauger 1/8, Jeremy Cupps 1/10 2WD 235mm Touring, Mike Nelson 1/10 4WD Open (200 mm/235mm combined), Chris Roundtree 1/10 .12 200mm Sedan

2002: Ralph Burch 1/8, Marty Barnes 1/10 2WD 235 mm Touring, Shawn Murray 1/10 4WD 235mm, Ralph Burch .12 200mm Sedan

2001: Ralph Burch 1/8, Frank Calandra 1/10 2WD 235mm Touring, John Wong .12 200mm Sedan

1991: David Diehl 1/8
1990: Akihisa Hashimoto 1/8
1989: Mark Blackketter 1/8
1988:
1987:

1985:
1984:
1983:
1982:
1981:
1980:

As you can see we are missing the first ten winners. If there are any historians out there who can remember who won any of those years let us know.

Off hand I can only think of 2 others: The McCoy Race which unfortunately is no more (R.I.P Dick & the race) and the Winternats which has been running for quite awhile but I don't know exactly how long.

Thumbs up Good Biggie Practice!!!

Yo J-Man!
5 more days until some much needed Practice on
this track! I haven't driven on it since last year /
September! Should be a blast / interesting running
it Counter-Clockwise!

I'll be back from Chicago late Thursday or early Friday.
Never the less I'll get to run this weekend! Can't wait!

See ya!

One of the neat things about running the track backwards is the car exhaust faces the drivers stand when they are on the straight. The cars sound cool when they get on the pipe towards the end of the straight!!!

Are you sure it's backwards Steve and not Counter Clockwise
I did not know there was a Backwards & a Forward way to run a track
I just thought it was Clockwise and Counter-Clockwise!! Ha Ha!
I guess IRL & NASCAR Run Backwards at Texas Motor Speedway!
Just giving you a hard time Steve

See ya!

Most forms of oval racing are in a counter-clockwise rotation, and road racing is USUALLY clockwise.
