Not being able to get to the track on the weekend, I started my car this morning.
I have fitted the Turbo one piece pipe with the Roar legal stinger. The part number is 61215L.
WOW sounds awesome, and spools up quicker than ever. Also reves higher. Cant wait to get this bad boy on the track.

Bend the belt tensioner wire(the section that goes through he mount and touches the setscrew) so it is almost parallel with the long part. Unbent, the tensioner puts to much tension on the belt even without the adjusting setscrew touching it. Just bend it enough so you can adjust for tension and manifold clearance.
Must use silicone sealant on diff gaskets. Part # T0220G warps too much when tightened to allow good seal.
Grind flats on steering pivot ball shoulders(part #C0502) to allow easier removal with needle nose pliers.
Must use newer Novarossi carbs on this car. Older carbs does not leave enough clearance for the brake disc. OR you could just grind/file older carbs for clearance.
Thats all can think of now.

freakah you are full of good ideas
i didnt think to grind the tierod balls so i could grab them with pliers but it makes perfect sense especially after i used loctite to install them
i switched to springs on my mtx-3 throttle linkages already another of your good ideas

i am still using fuel tubing to apply the brakes
i am now using springs to close throttle (because fuel tubing is harder to compress possibly bending chassis and definetly affecting brake performance and a spring on the negative side of the brake to ensure the brake will not drag
the new setup works well i did have to go through and reset the radio for brakes and abs but i think the end result is as good as it gets
whats the word on the new lightened chassis?

Francis, does RD have more than one chassis for the MTX-3? Ken showed me one Sunday that I think he said is new, that looked a bit different than the one you're running.

Kevin- the new chassis is pretty nice. I ran it on sunday, it's lighter then the stock and the sides are angle out like the mrx-3 chassis. I like it alot!
