jason102276 01-28-2003 12:36 PM

that stuff looks really good

does the brake lever come with the hardware to mount to the servo arm?

do you plan to release any more stuff in the future?

justrc 01-28-2003 02:28 PM

Yes, we will be bringing in more and more hopups later. hopefully not just for MTX-3. :)

the brake level needs a ball cup and a linkage that has threads on both side. this option is not only light weight but also giving it much more clearence near the 1st spur gear. the stock unit is almost touching the 1st spur.

Thank you!

Hi,

3R-008 Wheel Hex, is the price for 2 or 4?

3R-032 knockle Arm Adjusting Nuts, is the price for 4 or 8?

3R-014 Brake Bracelet + 3R-025 Rear Blade Type Swar Bar
What do the ends of the sway bar attach to?

Are you getting in more parts for the MTX-3?

Many Thanks

patelladragger 01-28-2003 02:59 PM

the parts and prices look good. Can you say which company makes these parts?

justrc 01-28-2003 03:03 PM

click, dublin:

the price is for 2 hex, 4 adjusting nuts

the end of the blades are attached to the original ball end that is connected to the lower suspension arms.

Thank you!
:)

justrc 01-28-2003 03:05 PM

patelladragger: those are 3racing parts, we will be bringing in more and more hopups of different brands in the future.

Thanks!:)

Pit-racer 01-28-2003 03:06 PM

 Will you be making the adj. rear sway bar for the serpent 705?

justrc 01-28-2003 03:08 PM

Pit-racer: i believe serpent has one already, because i saw one on a 705 the other day.

:)

jason102276 01-28-2003 03:15 PM

are the aluminum parts like chassis and pulley adapters made from 7075 aluminum?

looks like i will probably make an order after this weekend

justrc 01-28-2003 03:26 PM

jason102276: yes, they are.

Thanks.:)

mobil1rac 01-28-2003 03:37 PM

Justrc, I see you have all the hop-ups for the mtx-3, do you or can you sell the kit w/ motor or wo/motor?By the way the hop-ups look great. Is there a big difference in weight after the car has been assembled with all of your hop-ups. We are alll looking for the most reduction in weight?

justrc 01-28-2003 03:50 PM

mobil1rac: we are only selling options for now. Most of the hopups for the drivetrain reduce weight and some of the other hopups do that also. Other options are for adding stiffness to the car so that it will be much more consistent in terms of handling. Best of all, they isn't a big different in weight with those hopups on!

Thanks:)

:flaming:  :flaming:.....maybe you should call it Just Mugen

Bryan N. 01-28-2003 07:37 PM

Justrc- I was just wondering if you guys are somehow connected to RDLogics? I'm just asking because all the parts look similar(ex. carbon fiber upper deck), I'm not trying to start anything but I'm just curious. Thanks

Yes they make one but it is originally for the 1/8th scale cars. The kit has to be bought ,then have to buy also 2 male swaybar arms from the 1/10th. I was hopping to save some $$$$$ and not have to buy all separate pieces.

shortyboy 01-28-2003 08:42 PM

how much would shipping cost to my area?(hawaii) and how long would it take.

Manticore 01-28-2003 09:22 PM

shortyboy: shipping is $5 flat rate by USPS priority mail, you should get it in 2-3days minimum. maybe a little longer since you are in HI

Thanks!

justrc 01-28-2003 11:13 PM

Bryan N. : We are connected to 3racing, which is the original maker of those options.

Thanks.

Corse-R 01-30-2003 10:51 AM

JustRC:

Just only two questions, have been your website and is quite interesting.

Any plans of having a solid spool for the rear?
When ship overseas (Europe), what methods are used? EMS, Courier (UPS, DHL, ...), Certificated postage?

justrc 01-30-2003 12:38 PM

Corse-R: we are considering a solid axle for the rear, but we are not sure yet.

we are using United States Postal Serives, www.usps.com
EMS around 3-5days or Global priority around 4-6days, both are very safe.

Thanks.:)

I swear for a solid axle. Actually using 50000wt on my rear diff and wanting to lock with blue tack, but prefeer a real solid axle (less rotating weight).

jason102276 01-30-2003 01:57 PM

corse-r have you tried 100,000

i guess either you run on a really large track or really like alot of steering

at least it turns better than mtx-2

jason102276 01-30-2003 02:08 PM

i would like to see a ball diff for mtx-3 maybe even for front and rear that would be great for those of us who run on smaller tighter tracks

My local track has slightly more than 210Ft of backstraight with lots of grip (run with 40's and tried 42 at rear). Best lap was done on 20,05 secs by Barry Baker last August (Reedy International). No... not like a lot of steering, run B ackermann and almost stock setup, but love how reacts with a solid spool.

I think ball diff can not handle that kind of power from a nitro engine, ball diff works really good on EP besides if fuel gets into the diff itself the it will become very inconsistant!

Stick with the regular sealed gear diff or wait for Kawahara comes out with a negative diff!

Just my $0.02

jason102276 01-30-2003 03:23 PM

the 2 permanent tracks near me have shorter than 130ft straight some of the parkinglot tracks go bigger but still under 200

i tried a solid rear on my ntc3 at our sedan nats in ohio it was a little hard to handle i chose instead to run rear diff all the way tight then after nats i chose to get rid of ntc3 all together to many reliability issues

i also use close to stock setup havent changed ankerman cause i have no idea what it does same with rear roll center i have no clue

a roll center vs b vs c what is the difference i switch to c because of damage to b during runaway accident

jason102276 01-30-2003 03:29 PM

ah10 i hear what your saying about the inconsistency after all i owned a ntc3

but if those issues could be resolved by better design you have to admit it has advantages like unlimited adjustability and lightweight

Ah10 01-30-2003 04:31 PM

That's perfectly true on unlimited adjustability and lightweight, but I would rather sacrifice ajustability and weight for inconsistancy and something that would last 2 heats and one 30 minutes main! Dont u think so?
