Dennis,

you talked about using a standard pipe and exiting it to the rear of the car.
Have you considered the MIP stinger pipe with the with the straight stinger?

I looked at one at the hobby shop today and it looked a bit small for our rear exhaust monsters, but I'm not an expert on pipes. :)

Btw, I just saw that Trinity has anounced a K-Factory centax clutch for the TC3.
I think it's the same as the one from Kawahara.
Some company in asia make them for all the different companies.

Check it out on their website

have you seen the price of that centax clutch, I guess a little too high

stefan 07-18-2002 03:56 AM

This is retail!
Retail for the NTC3 is 499 bucks, so go figure.

I guess it''ll be around 80-90 Dollars once it hits the hobby shops, BUT I'll be rather welding my clutchbell to my crankshaft before I buy it from Ernie.

I'll wait until it's available from Kawahara..

Motorman,

I have a MT12 and I whant to run 30% nitro fuel.Which glowplug do you recoment mc59 or mc8?

bbntc3 07-19-2002 08:19 PM

we ran the mip stinger and mip touring car pipe which is alittle small diameter than the stinger and better power on the TC3 Trinty comversions and mts. the pipe accross the rear shock tower and had good results with it. Anybody seen all the Gh goodies that are being released? Hub carriers, ftr rear hinge pin mts without delrin bushing, which is a mistake! rear bulk head with brg cap, and alum steering rack, blue alum drive shaft. I think the steering rack will be a nice improvement if it removes the slop! BB

Can Anybody help me about the glowplug situation please!

che 07-22-2002 05:25 AM

PRO RS4,

MC59 is a hotter running plug for cooler weather.

If it is above 70 degrees (air temp) and a larger track, you should use a MC9 (or MC8). Anything avove those temps and a lrager track will probably burn up a MC59 plug.

Dennis - I ran a 1/10 2WD touring car with a ROAR legal 3 port engine for the first time Sunday. I had previously run the engine in an open car, meaning the head and cooling fins were in the open air when the car was at speed. I had temperature problems with this engine under the touring car body and want some recommendations of how to cool it better. I have a 2 inch diameter opening in the front window and a similar opening in the rear.
