I think Jp's r over rated and over priced. U can do VERY well with a Ninja, 4 half the price of a JP.

Well Ninja already has a World Championship with the little squirt. The con rod gig is long in the wind and They did a good job of handling the issue's. This first batch of voodoo engines is what I am currently running and have had no problems so far at the 5.5 gallon mark. I finished the break in on my a-spec this weekend and all I can say is it's a headhunter. Break in; follow Mikes info in the Ninja engine thread. Don't want to keep pimpin something but I really am that happy with the product, and my wallets not sore...

I have both engines...JP R03 and a Ninja (MurnanMod). I like both, but I must say the Ninja is faster from mid to top end. It's a "Revver". The Novarossi based motors have tons of torque and bottom end. With that being said, you can tune your clutch to get good results with both engines at different tracks, but I think each work better in different situations. When I am on a fast flowing layout, I love my Ninja because I can keep the momentum and revs up. However, if I am on a tight track with alot of slow corners, you always want that torque to pull you out of the corners. It is nice though to have an option that is less than 400.00 that can be very competitive. Being honest, I am still waiting for a motor that beats the Nova motors overall. Meaning, if the Ninja and a Nova (JP/+35/etc.) were priced the same...would racers buy a Ninja over the Nova. That is the 1,000,000.00 question???? Novarossi makes good sh!t, without question. I am anxiously waiting for someone to knock them off the throne. I think the Ninja is very close, and maybe the new version that is coming will be the blow that does.

Yes he put on quite "The vulgar display of power" at the Winter Nats. The bottom end deal; Clutch and Mugen still offers a 15t pinion. Watch out for the wheelies. No doubt Nova has killer bottom end. They should have called the Kangaroo Godzilla.

No doubt Pooh. The motor Swags ran down in Florida was CRAZY. Like I said, this might be the one to show Nova whats up.
