If you come to hang out and help pit and/or Marshall, you'll regret not bring a car! Ask me how I know! Either way, It'll be great to see you and catch up!

Final preparations are underway for our first race this weekend. It's a Midwest series Race. Friday practice and the usual weekend schedule. We're expecting a pretty good turnout. GoodRacing to all!

Hello Racers,

I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend! Please honor the fallen who gave everything.
The following weekend, May 30th and 31st, will be a double header. Both days will be a Test and Tune. HT Batavia has theirs Saturday. We will have Electric ONLY on Sunday. This is a great opportunity for us to gauge the interest in the different Electric classes. Depending who, and how many show up, Controlled practice for the different classes is a real possibility.
The messages have been positive that this could be a well-attended day.
The track will be prepped both days. Timing will be on. The track should be ready for laps around 9am. Power will be available at 8:00am.
Nitro Saturday, No engines are to be fired up before 8:00am. If needed, controlled practice could happen. It depends on numbers and what racers are wanting.
I have no real idea what the turnouts will be for both days. We all want a fun, productive day to test out new/old equipment and to run in the track.
The problematic fence at the end of the straight has been set back another 6 feet. You now have 10' of grass to mow before impact. I did find some interesting broken parts. Hopefully, that will be a thing of the past...😉 Goodracing to all!

The word has to get out more about this track because it seems not too many people know. I found out about it from a mention in a Youtube video and then I asked 3 other racer friends and none of them knew about it either. We are all about 30-40 minutes away as well.

Pretty sure the word is out, judging by my message box. Maybe more info on FB. I know a lot of people don't do FB, but it's getting tons of hits.

Huge Thank You to Scotty Ernst for taking the reins on the USGP!! With Dan on medical leave, Scotty is taking over all Admin duties. He put together a website in record time. PLEASE go to the site and register and sign up for the race. Even if you sent Dan or I a message or email, this needs to be done. Thank You.
Track work continues and we are striving to make a great first impression. This weekend is the Test and Tune for Nitro and Electric. Saturday is Nitro; Electric is Sunday. Come and check us out!

This coming weekend is the USGP warm-up race! Times flying but were ready! Practice Friday. 3 Quals Saturday, Possible LCQ Sunday morning and then Mains. Any 5 Nitro cars will make a class. This will be a great time to check out our new track and work on those fine-tuning adjustments.

Looking forward to some fun F1 asphalt racing out there. So excited to see a ribbon track in the midwest.
