A warmup race will happen the weekend before. Track will be prepped and ready on June 05. The track will remain open for racing/practice through the 14th. Lots of interest in this inaugural event. Make plans for an awesome RC vacation! Dan Louis is working on the website. Info for travel and accommodations will be posted soon.
We are also hosting the first race of the Midwest Series, May 15-17th. This is the longest running OnRoad series in the US! We are honored to be a part of RC history. Make plans to attend!

A quick update... A nice, productive weekend. We just about finished the elevated pit lane. We got all the pit tables and the elevated pit lane painted. There are a few details left. It's going to be such a nice convenience!
I was contacted about a delay in the delivery of the container boxes. The delivery will be a week from today. Also, I was told the asphalt plants are opening next week. We're still optimistic that we will have a test and tune May 02.

A major hurdle was completed! Had a great "crane day" at The Groove! Now we can get going on all the details to make this a true RC Destination! Just waiting on the asphalt plants to open up. That date is supposed to be April 20th. Can't wait to start making laps!

That's a goos race to "bag" (Stage at the track!)
MAybe I need to come down and watch, Marshall? I think it's a little closer to me then Joliet track was?!
