Dawn
please post the exact process James wants to reserve pit space. Right here in this thread. The exact email address, the exact information he needs and the exact address to send payment to. I got into this 3 weeks ago and the information is scattered all over hecks half acre. I sent an email to james and he told me to send another one to the link on the crystal park site not to his email address. The information on the crystal park site says to send an email to request@crystalparkrcraceway if you send an email to that address all it does is bounce. If you try to call the phone number on the crystal park site or the roar flyer all you get is that phone number is no longer in service I tried to reserve spaces for my team and all I got was snappy email replies like I was some kind of idiot and was told go here go there. It is still not done. I was told If roar screwed up the information it was not his problem.

Nice.... well.. I'm not going to point fingers or get into debate of who did what...

ROAR RMT events are simply this.. the host track is in charge of gathering sponsors and providing rented pit space and supplies. ROAR does not have anything to do with this as its an income generator for the host track. ROAR has not and will not get involved with the pit rental for this event.. but I can assure you, its being looked at for next years events with all the proceeds after the rental of equipment being forwarded to the host.

I will post the EXACT information here.... give me a few to cut and paste where I need to.....

Going to the Crystal Park Raceway website, I clicked on ROAR 1:10 Nationals button and got a flyer in .pdf. This is not the flyer I created for the event although its close.

The information on the flyer says:

Rental of table/chairs is $35.00
and to email the track with your name and space rental request and lists crystalparkraceway.com as the contact linking.

I just tried to phone James and got a voice mail that said to refer to the website for further info and would not let me leave a message. Therefore, I will attempt to email him and I will contact Robbie Collins with Mugen for some more information.

Be back later......

Ok....

send $35.00 for table/chair rental UNDER THE TENT to:

123 Artesia Blvd.
ATTENTION: CRYSTAL PARK RACEWAY/JAMES REESE
Compton, CA 90220

This goes to the casino so its important you put the Attention to part... so James gets it.

Right now, there is no tent rented because he's received no payment for rented space, or little of it.....

Robbie will be posting other comments James has made on another thread in this forum (the one I couldn't find) and we should be able to see what we all need to do.

Rooms and pit spaces going very fast.....if you don't get a spot. now....
there will be no exceptions...at the event.

so don't be left out....get your info in today....

and if you miss out...be a good sport.....nothing will be done about any late info.... in regards to pit space...

sponsors will be set up allong the wall in pit lane

table rentals section are set up by the air compresser..

VERRY IMPORTANT :

parking for the event; Hotel parking lot only...!!!!!
if you park on the street auto plaza dr.. there is a chance you might get a ticket....
people have been ridding quads and cycles in the feild...and the city of compton is writing tickets, even for those that are parked on the street...

i'm working on trying to get a street permit,,,,but it don't look good because of the time frame & $ i had to work with... street permits cost ..

so dont make plans to park on the street by the sweeper....street will be for spectators only..

any more questions....email me [email protected]

They send $35.00 for the rental and they get a covered pit area, table and chair... if I understand this correctly.

Also, the other areas for people to pit who bring their own shade and sitting and work areas are open and there is no charge for this, correct?

Also, I have been asked about RV Parking and told there is some but wasn't real clear as to cost or where it is.... maybe you can help?

Robbie
I sent james an email to this address [email protected], yes he did get it and he responded to me He basically told me I was an idiot and not to send it to this address. He told me to use the address on the crystal park website which is request@crystalparkrcraceway. which bounces so which is it? I'm not meaning to make this difficult but with the mixed signals I got its no wonder.
