Default Suggestions for Rubber tires on a NTC3

Can I get some suggestions for running rubber on a NTC3, we run on a fairly abrasive surface, and foams are getting expensive. The track is medium traction asphalt. Temps are generally around 80.

Thanks

One of the guys at our local track, ran rubber MedialPro tires(the ones with the built in inserts) for a while on his NTC3, and seemed happy with them. Their kinda heavy though.

Default Tires, tires, tires, it's ALWAYS the tires.

Darkseid;

There was a pretty good thread a few weeks ago about choices for parking lot racing. Might be a page or two back.

For ROUGH asphalt, @ 80F, Yokomo 138G's with an HPI 24mm RED insert should do the trick. If the asphalt is sealed or very new, then Sorex 36R's may work slightly better with the same insert. With the weather cooling down, I would stay with the medium type inserts.
Also the Sorex 36R's work better than any of the cooler Sorex compounds even on a cold track.

The Sorex 36R's will wear very well. The Yokomo's will wear a little faster.

In the uk we run Take off CS tyres mainly
front tyres have a hpi orange (med firm)
rear run medium
some time a harder grade tyre at the front.
