I just purchased the 903165 serpent shocks, does anyone know where i can get some instructions on how to open them up to change the pistons. thnaks for the help

Hi,

Saw your e-mail today, but i was willing to answer here just in case somebody else need the same info.

The upper part of the shock (allu exagon) is to hold the plastic i place. To open the shock, go to the other side (shock shaft) Just take a pair of pliers (watch out, it's plastic!! a tool is coming out soon) and unscrew it. The shaft with the piston will come out and you will be able to replace the piston.

Well guys, don't know about the name, but i got some pictures from a friend, so definitely there is something in the works. Here is what he wrote:

"This are some pictures picked up from a Dutch website. Rene Cornella (engineer-tester) testing a new 1/10 car at Serpent test-track in Heemstede. Also Jilles Groskamp was seen testing the car"
