Yeah, the Nissan was what I was thinking about doing.

The rules we have here say that the maximum width with shell is 250mm. That is a large amount wider than the dimensions of 209mm and 219mm front and rear that you gave me.

Are the other shells made to 250mm or are they around 230mm in general. No point in making a shell to narrow that it wont fit other types of cars.

well I use the wide chassis so yeah. I think that most pan car shells are 230mm If Im wrong then you can go with the other number (250)

Just waiting for Steve to post some pictures. He has done some prototype shells now and is just perfecting the temperature on the vac-forming machine.

I am just starting work on the design now. It will take a bit of time due to the rules stating grills and other air vents, etc needing to be scale replicas. Really awkward compared to other classes.

But it will be done.

Its easy to draw up a shell but getting the wing angles correct for each type of track is a litle bit more awkward. Too much front wing or rear wing really makes the difference in a good or bad shell

Once the shell is cut out you will only have a small lip around the bottom at the front as per all other shells of this type. But granted the lip is about 5mm more than others. We designed this shell with tighter twisty tracks in mind so the flatter front end will give you better cornering ability.

The shell will be priced around $20. We are trying a couple of different types of material but we are hoping to have it available on the market in a couple of weeks time.

We will be doing another version also that will have a lower wedge specifically for high speed tracks.
