The ENS is comming to our track!
The 1st race on the ENS calendar will be at the Rucphen track in Holland. Because this track has a fast layout it will be interesting to see how fast the world top drivers will go on this track. The fastest lap time is a 12.3 sec but with treated tires.....
Overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN2SH-sFkms Another nice vid from some old clubraces. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jd9uWwayOY Because the club will also have its 40 year anniversary we will try to make it a fest. Behind the scenes there is a lot of work going on. |
Already looking into plane tickets.
ENS is always a good time |
Looks good

congrats for hosting the ENS rnd1, Team Shepherd is allready looking forward. Will there be any "warmup" race before the event. Pretty sure some guys want to burn some rubber before the ENS, like me ;) Greetings Thilo |
A few weeks before the ENS we have scheduled a free weekend special for practise. Soon we will publish our full calendar.
|
On 15th of April (if the calender does not change) we have the 2nd clubrace which will be open for people who like to do a practice race for the ENS.
So far I know the limit is set to 30 drivers 1/8 and 20 drivers 1/10, this is done to get the whole clubrace on a day. As we have no 1/10 drivers and just a few 1/8 drivers there is a lot of room for others. One sad thing is that on the same date there is also an EFRA GP..... We normally do run 5min qualifications but maybe with enough drivers we can go to 4 as ENS standard which will save some time, that is for then to decide. The track is normally open for practise on saturday but because of also electric drivers you must respect the clock which devides each hour in drive time for all classes. And if needed there is a small camping space |
There is no dates for 2018 ...
Do I miss something? |
Strange, it looks like all is erased, also on Myrcm the dates are taken out.
From my club we do not know. Last monday I checked if the subsciption was open and all was still there. We are into it! Edit: We were not informed about this and the only reaction we've just got is that monday we know more. |
Well I hope it is still on with the ENS at your track. Seems like there are no dates this year which is strange because I know the E 1/8 spec class is looking to be part of the ENS again this year.
|
It looks like they have pulled the plug out.
|
Yeah I just found out E8 will not be part of ENS this year. Wonder why all the changes...
|
Euro Nitro Series » 2018 Euro Nitro Series
And there it is back again. Soon there will be an official statement |
Did the dates change?
|
With us not, I do not think they have changed because they were already scheduled
|
Just booked my ticket to attend.
Looking forward to another great ENS race |
Awesome track and great news Roelof

The ENS is more attractive than the ifmar world champ, it has more races with different locations, and it attracts the rc real mandrid to come
|
|
Also this year we will have the ENS. It is on the weekend of 24-26 of may.
The club is again working hard to make it a very good weekend. I invited a well known Dutch sport photographer who has never seen this and sees this as a new challenge. If he has the time he will be there. |
Roelof what day do you guys start Free Practice, will it be the 24th, or will the track open sooner?
Glad to see yall are getting a round this year. |
The track is open on Thursday 23th of May for free practise.
|
it will be interesting to see how fast the world top drivers will go on this track.
|
They went very fast last year. I will see everyone next week. Completely enjoy coming over for ENS races. greg |

60 drivers listed at this time
|
How is it going, i know coverage will be Infinity biased, lol...
Hope the weather holds out. |
I am missing some speed but the car drives good, tomorrow I will do some fine tuning on the clutch and gearbox hoping to get some extra punch out of the corner. Meanwhile my tabled is showing F2 and F1 so nothing is missed from Monaco.

Roelof, awesome! Is Pietsch running decals now instead of a painted body?
|
Last year he was also driving with those decals, seems an easy but effective paintjob and beside that, it will make those super lightweight bodies stronger.
Talking of which, I had 2 of those extreme bodies in a package deal with some engines last yer, now using them I must say they are a nightmare. There is a crack in the body before you know it, even the stifners do pop out the mounting holes with the 1st run. Now all stiffners on a 2nd body are dubble sided taped and with 2 push buttons locked. I finally found some speed but not enough. B-final 40+ is my place and hope to bump up but the tablet is with me so it seems I can watch Monaco ;) |
Man, seems to have some really good racing gone on. Nice to see Silvio on the podium again!
