What can I do to improve steering? Doesn't seem to have quite enough. Right now everything is stock. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

Lutz winning SIC race with the 215T is a big deal. First...he won. Second...he beat Tebo. Third...Tebo had a Tekno truggy which is a good whip. So this says a lot about our driver and our truck. I’m racing at January Jam this weekend at Flowood RC. Lutz will be there and I look forward to picking his brain on the truck.

I picked up a used a8t... and was curious what would have to be changed to swap over my truck to the new a215t chassis. Meaning will everything bolt on to it from the a8t? I know some things would have to change with the chassis like guards, servo tray and body... but any other must changes? Would like to slowly change over while keeping the truck drivable if possible...Thank in advance for any insight
*** I'm aware of all the differences between the 2 trucks as someone listed it here a few pages back. But I would think some of those changes will not have to be changed if everything from the a8t truck lines up and bolts in. Thank

Hey there, the front clip will bolt on as is. I’d swap the A and B plates to the 215t for convenience but original should go on to the chassis. When when swapping to the new hinge plates you’ll need the new inserts and the longer black coated hinge pins. The rear clip will need the newer rear gearbox with the a215t C and D plates as the C plate locks onto the chassis differently and the D plate accommodates for the kick up in the tail of it. The center diff will need the a215t outdrives with the double bearing setup then your center shafts should work. If you swap arms ever, you’ll need to go to the a215t outdrives and second bearing to accommodate the added length. Again the shaft remains usable still. Towers aren’t that different. The steering crank system would be a nice upgrade.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need part numbers.

1 more question, can you confirm all parts from the buggy A215 will swap to the A215T as long as it dosent have a "T" at the end of the part number. Im pretty sure thats the case but since you seem to have the knowledge of the truck i figured i would ask for confirmation. Thanks again

Just sold my A8T and picked up the A215T... cant wait to get it on the track! Question about bodies... has anyone tried different bodies on the A215T, and if so what works best? I really like the Original A8T body but i'm not sure it will fit. Thanks for any help
