I wouldn't say AKA has an advantage at Vegas. I'm a local and on a dry surface, which the worlds will be ran on, I had better luck on Proline. Luck being the "operative" word. Proline Blockades in an x3 compound got me through a 45 minute main for a win in open truggy at the Nevada State Championships and Fugitives helped my buggy to a first in intermediate. both were solid performers on the dry surface. I do prefer AKA Grid Irons when it's ran wet. I am surprised by all the drivers leaving AKA, though.
PErsonally? The X compound from proline are next step from everything else out there.
Their plan is to run the track dry for worlds and let it groove up. I heard some words about calcium chloride use is possible as well. Long wears will be huge there.

I can't say wich tire is faster there because I only run pl, and tires at the silver state was the last thing we worried about... Running a wet prepped track vs running a track at the worlds is a hole different story, especially on Vegas desert dirt... Unprepared dry, super rough, dusty conditions.. Hard to say, doubt it's gonna be a tire war there..

"Murmurs have reached our delicate frostbitten ears of an imminent ‘reshuffle’ at one of the higher-profile international Factory chassis teams with rumours that at least one of their top name drivers will be packing their bags for pastures new – just as the 2016 season begins to stutter and splutter into life after it’s annual slumber & holiday-season hangover hibernation."
